Age 31

I have lived all of my life feeling clumsy and slow, especially living in a family of very avid readers.  School was a challenge, spending most of the time with Cs and Ds.

I didn’t start reading until 3rd or 4th grade, but could never do it for long periods.  Taking notes was a pointless exercise, and reading notes on the board gave me headaches.

I still went to college and earned my Bachelors degree.  So long as the class didn’t involve much reading or there was a decent study group before tests, I did all right.

My new vision has changed my world!  Now I look at myself in a mirror or a recent photo, and I’m no longer self-conscious.  My world has added depth and scope I’ve never seen!  After 28 years I need more than 10 fingers to count the number of books I have finished in the year I’ve worked with Minnesota Vision Therapy Center.  I finally enjoy reading!  I’m no longer looking at the ground when I walk, but straight ahead!  I only wish I knew about you earlier.  Thank you, Vision Therapy!
